Day 5 - Seeking SolaceWill I find it? I feel trapped in this hole. Help? Your arms, I think they're just long enough to grab my hand. Wait, are you leaving? Come back. Hey!
And then Alice almost rolled out of her bed from her nightmare. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and looked out at the dark December morning. That was the third time this week she had that dream.
Time to get ready for school now, she thought to herself.
The sound of shovels were working their way from last night's storm, her father included.
Alice got dressed and started nibbling her breakfast but when her mother wasn't looking, she pretended that she ate it all and dumped it in the trash instead. It had gone on for a week now.
At school, life was no better. She spent her time during her lunch hour studying in the library or just going online to see if someone was there in the server she was part of. when I sit in the dark, I feel like that's why my thoughts are the clearest. That's probably why I'm always writing at night like now...

Some people are afraid of it; not me. To me, it's welcoming. You can open your eyes or close them and yet you'll see nothing. You can guess where the location of things are but that's about it. It's like life, you just don't know what's around the corner, a treasure or a monster to come out and bite you. Or something you had already been told but anticipated it all in the wrong way. Well, that's how things usually are for me, coming back to bite at me.

So many attempts to study for finals but after practicing all morning for Orchestra, I have no more motivation so instead, I'm just calculating how bad of a score I can get while passing with my current letter grade or the next one up if possible.

I try my best in life but hey, if I fail, I'll learn something out of it so it won't completely go to a waste.

I'm more of a music person so most of my art now will be leaning towards the literature side. What do I play? Piano (since I was four), recorder (3rd grade requirement), viola (high school Orchestra. Used for credit only at first but I stuck around for a while), taiko (for Japanese club) and guitar (always wanted to learn.) So yeah... really talented in music but I'm not gonna major in that. Instead, it'll be in Psychology. Everyone I know are like, "Why? You play so well!" and I just tell them I really want to learn how people behavior and why we do the things we do. For now, music is more for pastime entertainment.

Currently working on a 100 themes challenge.
